Jenn Kuipers, Owner & Senior Stylist
‘Everyone is unique, and so is their hair!’
Jenn has always had an affinity for the creative side of life and after completing a hairstyling and business course, her ‘side job opportunity’ turned into a full time passion.
Jenn specializes in colour, focusing on blondes and balayage, and bridal styling.
After 15 years of experience and education behind the chair honing her craft, a dream was realized in opening her own salon Studio Apri in 2021. Jenn’s vision for the hair studio was a place where clients could have a relaxing experience that was tailored for them.
‘I have a love for all things creative with a slight bend towards perfectionism and I am all about the details! That’s what makes me great at the technical part of my job, but where the real love comes in is connecting with my clients.
If I can boost their confidence by making their day with a fresh new look or troubleshooting their hair, or simply being a bright spot in their day where we can chat about life and they leave with great hair; then I feel that I’ve been able to do more than just my job, I can be part of a positive light in this world.’
On her down time, you’ll find her - or rather won’t find her - because she will either be out in the middle of nowhere camping and hiking in the summer and out trekking the Himalayas in Nepal or taking a canoe trip down the Amazon in the winter months.
Jenn takes the stress out of caring for my hair! She not only provides professional colour and style, but she does so in such a personal way. She is honest with her opinions on what would work for me and my lifestyle, and her advice has always been bang on. Her product recommendations have made the difference for my everyday hair routines. It is a relief knowing I am in such capable hands!

Justine has always loved and lived in the beauty industry. Her passion for the art started in the cosmetic community with contracts for print work for multiple magazine companies. It then developed into the love of the salon industry, working in Toronto for Fashion Week and the Shopping Channel.
Family soon came and she decided to start a new life in the country with her two children and husband. She couldn’t be happier with her decision and is excited with this adventure!
Justine has been doing my hair for over 10 years and there's a reason why I continue to see her - I'm always happy when I leave. For years I saw Justine in Brampton and when she relocated to Palmerston, I knew I would make the trek because I view my hair as essential to my happiness with my appearance.
Despite the numerous changes over the years to my cut, style, and colour, Justine intuitively seems to understand what look I'm going for, and how to make it happen. It also doesn't hurt that Justine gives a wonderful scalp massage. 10/10 definitely recommend visiting Justine at Studio Apri.
